Restorative Practices

Restorative Justice Education is a model of resilience, relationship building, and conflict resolution that finds its roots in the way of life of Indigenous People. This mindset seeks to mitigate conflict and harm, understanding that individuals responsible for the offense experience harm as well, by not only focusing on the maladaptive behaviors but the cause, impact, ripple effects, and strategies for meeting the unmet need to promote accountability and prevent recidivism. Facilitators would guide participants in this two-day workshop through the following:
